(Senior) Compliance & Legal Manager (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

Our client, a confidential international technology organization, is seeking a senior compliance and legal professional to join their team in Karlsruhe. In this role, you will:

• Develop, review, and negotiate customer and supplier framework agreements, individual contracts, and general terms and conditions
• Support the organization on all contract-related and commercial legal matters
• Enhance existing contract standards and process all legal transactions
• Create internal policies and guidelines in areas including information security, data protection, and export controls
• Build new and develop existing risk management systems
• Coordinate and manage data protection matters across the organization
• Establish IP management processes (including trademark law) and oversee patent management
• Monitor legal requirements and implement national laws and European regulations
• Support compliance management and product conformity initiatives
• Conduct export control reviews, particularly concerning defense-related goods
• Manage insurance matters and special projects as assigned

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring:

• Completed degree in Business Law, International Business Law, or comparable qualification
• Ideally, relevant professional experience in the legal department of an internationally operating company
• Knowledge in international commercial law, IP law, IT law, data protection, and export control law
• Structured and goal-oriented working style with willingness to independently develop and actively advance topics
• Strong social competence and team collaboration skills
• Very good English language proficiency
• German language fluency (position is based in Germany)
