Senior Cloud Engineer (gn)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential logistics organization in the Hamburg region. Our talent team is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer for a permanent position with our client. In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic development and administration of cloud infrastructure, as well as implementing a global cloud strategy.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and administer enterprise-wide public cloud solutions across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS models
• Develop and optimize cloud strategy in alignment with business requirements
• Design and evaluate operating concepts for IT systems in Azure environments, including functionality, security, migration paths, and budget considerations
• Ensure compliance with all security aspects, particularly for protecting corporate data in cloud environments
• Monitor performance parameters and availability of cloud services and perform optimizations
• Advise IT colleagues on deployment scenarios and provide troubleshooting support
• Document cloud-based operational processes and create regular reports

What We're Looking For

• Completed university degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification with several years of professional experience in cloud infrastructures
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with cloud technologies including Azure, Entra ID, Intune, PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS
• Experience migrating from on-premises to cloud solutions and knowledge of enterprise technologies
• Demonstrable track record of implementing projects in large enterprise structures
• Fluent communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken
• Independent, solution-oriented working style with resilience and flexibility
