We are representing a confidential software consulting organization in Darmstadt seeking a Senior Cloud & DevOps Engineer to join their growing team. Our client works with prominent enterprise customers across finance, automotive, transportation, and media sectors, delivering cutting-edge cloud-native solutions and platform engineering services.

This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging consulting and software development projects while taking ownership of modern cloud infrastructure and delivery pipelines. Responsibilities

• Consult on cloud-native architectures including Docker, Kubernetes, and Prometheus implementations
• Advise clients on Infrastructure as Code approaches using tools like Terraform and GitOps methodologies such as ArgoCD
• Design, implement, and operate modern IT platforms on public cloud providers including AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Own the software delivery processes, ensuring continuous delivery and deployment practices are properly implemented and maintained
• Manage configurations for development and runtime environments across test, staging, and production platforms
• Implement and maintain monitoring solutions for cloud platforms and containerized applications
• Bring innovative ideas to projects and take on technical leadership responsibilities when needed

What We're Looking For

• University degree in Computer Science, completed IT specialist training (Fachinformatiker), or comparable qualification
• Deep, hands-on experience operating modern virtualized runtime environments including containerization technologies, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and cloud platforms
• Proven ability to think strategically, act customer-focused, and take ownership of technical initiatives
• Strong willingness to contribute fresh perspectives to projects and organizational processes
• Fluent German language skills (minimum C1 level) and very good English (minimum B2 level)
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to provide technical leadership within and beyond project teams
