Senior Clinical Research Associate – Rare CNS – Southeast/Mid-Atlantic

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential clinical research organization seeking a Senior Clinical Research Associate specializing in Rare CNS disorders. This remote position serves the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic United States and offers the opportunity to work on meaningful studies that advance treatment for patients with rare neurological conditions.

We are looking for an experienced CRA who can independently manage site relationships, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain the highest standards of data integrity across geographically dispersed research sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage research activities at clinical sites participating in rare CNS studies
• Identify and qualify potential investigative sites for research participation
• Perform study start-up activities including regulatory document collection and site training
• Support contract and budget negotiations with participating sites
• Conduct study initiation visits (SIVs) and ensure sites are prepared for patient enrollment
• Monitor remote site activities to ensure compliance with informed consent processes, safety event reporting, and regulatory requirements
• Train site personnel on proper data collection methods and adverse event documentation
• Manage ongoing site maintenance activities throughout the study lifecycle
• Coordinate site close-out procedures upon study completion

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate
• Direct experience with Rare CNS clinical trials (required)
• 4-year university degree or Nursing degree
• Current residence in the Southeastern or Mid-Atlantic United States
• Willingness to travel regionally as needed
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Superior organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CTMS, and EDC systems
