Senior Business Operations Manager (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential food-service organization based in Berlin. In this Senior Business Operations Manager role, you will ensure that strategic initiatives move from analysis to implementation. You will structure complex challenges, improve processes, and lead cross-functional projects from concept through to measurable results.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Identifying operational and commercial improvement opportunities and implementing them with relevant teams
• Analyzing performance data, developing clear recommendations, and translating them into concrete actions
• Taking ownership of cross-functional projects from goal definition through execution
• Improving processes, structures, and accountabilities while ensuring solutions are sustainable
• Coordinating stakeholders, resolving blockers, and keeping critical initiatives on track
• Supporting the launch and development of new products, brands, locations, and markets
• Identifying practical use cases for automation, AI, and new tools and driving their pragmatic adoption
• Helping the organization scale more efficiently as it grows

You will work closely with leadership and colleagues across strategy, operations, finance, supply chain, product, and technology teams.

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience in a startup, business operations, strategy, consulting, commercial, or comparable environment
• Proven track record of structuring complex topics and independently leading projects through to implementation
• Strong analytical and entrepreneurial thinking with solid understanding of operational interdependencies
• High initiative, strong ownership mindset, and consistent follow-through
• Ability to coordinate different teams and deliver results without formal authority
• Proficiency with data, spreadsheets, dashboards, presentations, and business tools
• Excellent German and professional English language skills
• Experience in food service, delivery, quick-service retail, hospitality, or fast-growing startups is helpful but not required
