IT System Engineer (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

Our talent team is representing a confidential healthcare technology organization based in Berlin. We are seeking an IT System Engineer to manage complex enterprise content management and document management systems within healthcare environments.

In this role, you will:

• Install, configure, and deploy enterprise content management (ECM) and document management systems (DMS)
• Support complex Windows server environments and perform software updates and release changes
• Configure and optimize technical interfaces and perform data migrations
• Analyze and resolve technical issues via remote access as part of 2nd-level support
• Collaborate closely with customer-side 1st-level support teams for sustainable solution development
• Communicate directly with customers to analyze technical requirements and develop customized solutions
• Support IT consultants and project teams on technical matters
• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge databases
• Work within a 19-person team organized into three specialized areas
• Actively contribute to the continuous optimization of IT infrastructures and system landscapes

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or completed apprenticeship as IT Specialist for System Integration, or comparable IT qualification
• Professional experience as IT System Engineer, System Administrator, IT Consultant, IT Support Engineer, Technical Consultant, or IT Systems Administrator
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server environments
• Experience administering complex IT infrastructures
• Good knowledge of network technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, Active Directory, network communication)
• Experience with SQL and fundamental database understanding
• Knowledge of at least one scripting language with ability to analyze and understand scripts (software development skills not required)
• Analytical thinking and enthusiasm for understanding complex technical relationships
• Strong service and customer orientation with confident presence in direct customer dialogue
• Team player with initiative and structured work approach
• Fluent German and good English language skills

Location: Berlin, Germany. Hybrid work available (up to two days per week remote after successful onboarding).
