About This Opportunity

We are representing a dynamic software development and IT consulting organization with offices in Leipzig and Lübeck. Our talent team is seeking an experienced IT Project Leader who combines technical expertise with project management skills. This role offers the opportunity to lead innovative technology projects while remaining hands-on with development work.

Location: Leipzig or Lübeck, Germany (hybrid working available)

Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time

Language Requirement: German level C1 minimum

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and guide IT projects from proposal creation through technical conception to project completion
• Moderate regular project meetings and facilitate team communication
• Contribute to project planning, complexity assessment, and effort estimation
• Communicate directly with clients, translating their requirements and expectations to the project team
• Actively participate as a developer within the coding team alongside your project leadership duties

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Completed university degree in IT or comparable qualification
• German language proficiency at C1 level or higher
• Proven ability to lead projects while maintaining hands-on coding capabilities
• Experience with at least one of the core technology stacks: Frontend (Vue.js, React.js), Backend (PHP/Laravel, Python), or Data Science (Python, PowerBI, ML)
• Experience implementing and executing agile methodologies
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Scrum Master certification or experience

Technical Environment:

• Agile working methodology
• Git version control and Slack for team coordination
• Frontend technologies: Vue.js, React.js
• Backend technologies: PHP/Laravel, Python
• Data Science stack: Python, PowerBI, Machine Learning
