About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital consultancy based in München that has been delivering innovative solutions since the early 1990s. Our client works with organizations across industries to drive meaningful digital transformation through strategic design, software development, and user-centered solutions. Their agile teams tackle diverse challenges—from experience design and digital communication to complex system integrations.

We're seeking a Senior Architect to join their team of over 140 dedicated professionals. In this role, you'll define robust architectures for complex digital platforms, guide critical technical decisions, and bridge the gap between business value and technical delivery.

Responsibilities

• Define clear, consistent, and implementable target architectures for complex digital solutions
• Assess technical options for business value, feasibility, scalability, security, and commercial viability
• Create alignment across client stakeholders, engineering teams, consulting, project management, and other disciplines
• Actively guide architecture decisions through to successful delivery
• Make decisions under uncertainty, clarify trade-offs, and proactively manage technical risks
• Provide professional direction and mentorship to junior and intermediate colleagues
• Support presales activities and contribute to developing architecture knowledge and standards
• Own complex initiatives and connect quality standards with business and delivery realities

What We're Looking For

• Several years of strong experience in solution and system architecture for digital platforms
• Proven track record owning complex areas of responsibility
• Deep expertise in architecture models, integrations, scalability, security, and technical delivery
• Ability to advise clients and internal stakeholders confidently up to senior decision-making level
• Skill in balancing professional quality with business value, commercial viability, and delivery constraints
• Experience facilitating conflicting objectives and leading complex decisions toward robust outcomes
• Strong communication skills in both German and English
• Capability to provide professional direction and develop colleagues
