About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential renewable energy consultancy based in Berlin. Our client is looking for a Senior Consultant to join their Energy Markets & Economics team, focusing on photovoltaic, battery storage, and hybrid energy projects across European markets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare market analyses, economic assessments, and expert reports for renewable energy and storage projects
• Analyze electricity markets, market mechanisms, and regulatory frameworks within the European energy sector
• Evaluate business models, route-to-market strategies, and flexibility solutions for energy storage
• Conduct cash flow modeling, sensitivity analyses, and scenario planning to support investment decisions
• Present findings and strategic recommendations to clients, investors, and project partners
• Develop new consulting services and enhance existing products in energy markets and economics
• Collaborate in an international environment with sales and business development teams

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Energy Economics, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or comparable field
• Several years of professional experience in the energy sector, market analysis, management consulting, or project development
• In-depth knowledge of European electricity markets, energy market dynamics, and regulatory requirements
• Proven experience developing financial models, economic assessments, and data-driven decision frameworks
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure complex topics and communicate effectively to diverse audiences
• High initiative, accountability, customer orientation, and entrepreneurial mindset
• Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
