Virtual Account Executive -Berlin Area

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential networking technology client in their search for a Virtual Account Executive based in the Berlin area. This is a remote sales role focused on new business acquisition and account development within the German market. You'll spend approximately 70% of your time on active selling activities and 30% on supporting tasks such as quote preparation and partner coordination.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new business and build a strong pipeline of opportunities
• Actively seek out and develop new customers and opportunities within assigned territories
• Proactively contact existing clients to maximize business potential through upsell and cross-sell initiatives
• Engage with marketing-qualified leads and convert them into genuine opportunities
• Acquire and develop your own customer portfolio with direct end-user engagement
• Provide consistent interaction with existing customers to identify expansion opportunities
• Communicate information about new products, services, and operational changes to customers in a timely manner
• Maintain and build strong account relationships
• Represent the organization at industry trade shows and conferences (travel required)
• Manage day-to-day client meetings and maintain accurate records in Salesforce CRM
• Manage quotations through to booking while meeting client expectations
• Follow up on quotes and coordinate internally with operations teams
• Report activities to the country manager

What We're Looking For

• Strong German language skills (required)
• Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in networking or technology solutions
• Track record of new business acquisition and account development
• Ability to build and maintain customer relationships
• Experience with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
• Willingness to travel for trade shows and conferences
• Based in or near the Berlin area

Pay

The on-target earnings (OTE) for this role is €80,000-€90,000 based on qualifications and experience, with a 55/45 base/commission split. This figure is set by the client organization.
