Senior Analytics Engineer – Marketing

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential SaaS client seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join their Marketing function. This role offers the opportunity to shape data infrastructure, build trusted datasets, and enable data-driven decision-making across go-to-market teams.

You'll work closely with Marketing stakeholders to ensure campaign performance, attribution, and funnel metrics are accurately tracked and easily accessible. This is a high-impact position where you'll establish best practices in data quality, documentation, and scalable analytics architecture.

Location: Ireland, Portugal, or United Kingdom (remote/digital-first)

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain self-serve datasets and reporting layers that power Marketing performance reviews, campaign analysis, attribution modeling, funnel monitoring, and investment decisions
• Proactively identify and resolve data quality issues across Marketing and GTM systems, including source tracking, campaign metadata, funnel completeness, attribution coverage, and spend data
• Add comprehensive metadata to all datasets, including documentation, lineage, ownership, definitions, quality checks, and sensitive data masking
• Partner with Marketing stakeholders to translate business questions into robust data products, dashboards, and decision-ready insights
• Enable Marketing teams to confidently use BI tools and core datasets through documentation, training, office hours, and self-serve resources
• Activate data into operational tools to support audience segmentation, lifecycle programs, campaign optimization, and GTM workflows

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience in analytics engineering or related data roles with demonstrated expertise in advanced SQL, dbt, and Snowflake
• Proficiency with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, or similar) to deliver clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders
• Skilled in data ingestion and activation using no-code tools (Fivetran, Stitch, or similar)
• Strong knowledge of metadata management, documentation standards, data quality frameworks, and sensitive data handling
• Excellent collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders, understanding their needs and delivering impactful solutions
• Experience conducting training sessions and mentoring junior team members in a collaborative environment
• Familiarity with Marketing and GTM data concepts: campaign tracking, attribution, funnel stages, lead/account lifecycle, pipeline generation, paid media, web analytics, CRM data, and marketing automation
• Experience with common GTM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, Google Analytics, ad platforms, or enrichment tools
• Comfort working cross-functionally with Marketing, RevOps, Sales, Finance, and Data teams to align definitions and reporting logic
