The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to play a key role in our Finance team. You'll manage complex accounting functions, strengthen our financial controls, and support strategic decision-making for one of Europe's leading food delivery and logistics platforms. This is a chance to work with a sophisticated financial infrastructure serving millions of users across multiple markets whilst contributing directly to the company's continued expansion.

Core Duties

• Prepare and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely month-end and year-end closing processes
• Manage accounts receivable and payable operations, including invoice processing and vendor reconciliations
• Support the development and implementation of accounting policies and internal control frameworks
• Analyse financial statements and variances, producing clear reports for management review
• Assist with tax compliance and statutory reporting obligations in the local jurisdiction
• Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure financial reporting integrity
• Identify process improvements and contribute to continuous operational efficiency

What You Bring

• Recognised accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional designation) or extensive relevant experience
• Proven track record as a Senior Accountant or similar role within a fast-paced, multinational environment
• Strong expertise in financial reporting, accounting systems, and reconciliation procedures
• Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel
• Solid understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or local accounting standards
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
• Fluent English and professional demeanour
