Senior Accountant ERP & Digitalisierung (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential international manufacturing organization seeking a Senior Accountant specializing in ERP and Digital Transformation. This role sits at the intersection of finance expertise and technology implementation, offering the opportunity to shape modern financial processes across multiple entities.

Our client is a globally established family-owned business with operations spanning multiple continents. You'll play a central role in driving the digital evolution of their finance landscape while serving as the key liaison for ERP processes across the international group.

Responsibilities

• Serve as module owner for finance processes within Microsoft Dynamics 365 across current and future group entities
• Configure and advance ERP processes, interfaces, and digital finance solutions
• Analyze and optimize business processes with focus on accounting, consolidation, and treasury
• Participate in and lead sub-projects within finance transformation initiatives, including workflow automation and process digitalization
• Support system go-lives, rollouts, and continuous development of the finance IT landscape
• Collaborate closely with finance teams, Dynamics 365 specialists, and external consulting partners on joint initiatives
• Gather, evaluate, and translate finance requirements into technical solutions

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Completed degree in business administration, finance, business informatics, or commercial apprenticeship with finance specialization
• Several years of experience in financial accounting with solid understanding of finance processes, booking logic, and month-end/year-end closing procedures
• Fluent German and English language skills
• Proficient with MS Office and standard ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Initial experience with digitalization projects and genuine interest in process and system development

Preferred experience:

• Familiarity with consolidation or treasury management platforms
• Scrum knowledge or agile project experience
