About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential manufacturing client in their search for a Senior Accountant with ERP and digitalization expertise. Our talent team is seeking a finance professional who wants to drive digital transformation and shape modern ERP systems in an international environment.

This role sits at the intersection of finance and technology, where you'll be the central point of contact for ERP processes across multiple international locations. You'll work with Microsoft Dynamics 365 to optimize financial workflows and lead digitalization initiatives.

Location: Braunschweig, Germany
Work Model: Hybrid (up to 2 days home office per week) with flexible hours

Responsibilities

As Senior Accountant ERP & Digitalisierung, you will shape the evolution of modern finance processes, advance group-wide ERP solutions, and serve as the bridge between finance and IT:

• Take module responsibility for finance processes in Microsoft Dynamics 365 across existing and future group entities
• Configure and develop ERP processes, interfaces, and digital finance solutions
• Analyze and optimize business processes with focus on accounting, consolidation, and treasury
• Participate in and lead sub-projects within finance transformation initiatives, including workflow implementation and automation
• Support go-lives, rollouts, and continuous development of the finance IT landscape
• Collaborate closely with finance teams, Dynamics 365 specialists, and external consulting partners
• Gather, evaluate, and translate finance requirements into technical solutions

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Completed degree in business administration, finance, business informatics, or commercial training with additional finance qualifications
• Several years of experience in financial accounting with solid understanding of finance processes, booking logic, and month-end/year-end close procedures
• Very good German and English language skills
• Confident use of MS Office and common ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Initial experience with digitalization projects and genuine interest in developing processes and systems

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Lucanet or Serrala CM Pro
• Scrum knowledge or agile project experience
