About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential manufacturing organization seeking a Senior Accountant with ERP and digitalization expertise. This role combines finance knowledge with system implementation leadership, focusing on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance processes across multiple international entities.

Location: Hildesheim, Germany
Work Model: Hybrid (up to 2 days home office per week with flexible hours)

Responsibilities

As Senior Accountant ERP & Digitalization, you will drive the digital evolution of finance operations and serve as the central point of contact for ERP processes within an international group structure.

• Own Finance module responsibility within Microsoft Dynamics 365 for current and future group entities
• Configure and develop ERP processes, interfaces, and digital finance solutions
• Analyze and optimize business processes with focus on accounting, consolidation, and treasury
• Participate in and lead subprojects within finance transformation initiatives, including workflow automation
• Manage go-lives, rollouts, and ongoing development of the finance IT landscape
• Collaborate with finance teams, Dynamics 365 specialists, and external consulting partners
• Gather, evaluate, and translate finance requirements into technical solutions

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Completed degree in Business, Finance, Business Informatics, or commercial qualification with finance specialization
• Several years of experience in financial accounting with strong understanding of finance processes, booking logic, and month-end/year-end closing
• Very good German and English language skills
• Proficient with MS Office and common ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Initial experience with digitalization projects and genuine interest in process and system development

Nice to have:

• Experience with consolidation or treasury management platforms
• Scrum knowledge or agile project experience
