RN Nurse Supervisor

Phoenix Home Care and Hospice is seeking an experienced RN Nurse Supervisor to lead our clinical team in Springfield, Missouri. As a full-time RN Nurse Supervisor, you'll guide nursing staff, ensure quality patient care, and help set the clinical direction for our home care and hospice services in the Springfield area.

Role Overview

In this leadership position, you'll serve as the clinical backbone of our Springfield operations, overseeing nursing staff performance, clinical protocols, and patient outcomes. Your expertise in home care and hospice nursing will shape how our team delivers compassionate, high-quality care. You'll report directly to senior management and hold accountability for maintaining clinical excellence, staff development, and regulatory compliance across all nursing functions.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, including RNs and LPNs, providing coaching and performance feedback
• Monitor and assess patient care quality, adjusting clinical protocols as needed to meet best practices
• Coordinate with physicians, care teams, and families to ensure patient care plans are executed effectively
• Review clinical documentation and medical records for accuracy and completeness
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing home care and hospice services
• Conduct staff training on clinical procedures, policies, and professional development
• Respond to clinical concerns, complications, or incidents, and initiate appropriate interventions
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives

What You Bring

• Current, unrestricted RN (Registered Nurse) license in Missouri
• Minimum 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in home care, hospice, or similar settings
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience managing clinical staff
• Strong knowledge of nursing protocols, patient assessment, and evidence-based care practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
• Commitment to patient-centered care and staff development
