Rheumatologist – CA Licensed, BC FTE Fully Virtual

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential telehealth organization seeking an experienced Rheumatologist for a fully virtual, full-time position serving patients across Canada. This role offers the opportunity to deliver specialty rheumatologic care remotely while maintaining an excellent work-life balance in a 37-hour clinical workweek.

This is a physician-level position requiring CA licensure and board certification in Rheumatology. You'll work within an established virtual care platform, managing chronic autoimmune and inflammatory conditions while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual rheumatology consultations, evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans via telehealth platform
• Manage chronic autoimmune and inflammatory conditions, including medication management and ongoing treatment monitoring
• Conduct follow-up visits and provide longitudinal care for established patients
• Provide clinical oversight and supervision for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) as applicable
• Document all patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner within the electronic medical record system
• Collaborate with specialists and care team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care delivery
• Maintain compliance with clinical protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements

What We're Looking For

• MD or DO degree
• Completed fellowship training in Rheumatology
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology
• Active, unrestricted CA medical license (multi-provincial licensure preferred)
• DEA license in good standing
• Experience or demonstrated interest in APP supervision
• Comfort and competence providing care in a telehealth environment
• Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and commitment to patient-centered care

Compensation and Benefits

This is a full-time (FTE) position offering 37 clinical hours per week in a 100% remote telehealth practice. The role includes competitive base salary, quarterly bonus opportunities based on productivity metrics and patient satisfaction scores, and malpractice coverage. Our client provides administrative and clinical support to reduce non-clinical workload, along with established telehealth infrastructure and technology.
