About This Position
We're seeking a dedicated Residential Skills Instructor to work evenings and weekends at our Upton location. You'll earn a starting rate of $19.00 per hour and work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. In this role, you'll be the consistent presence in the lives of the individuals we serve, building trust and fostering growth through patient mentorship and structured activity support.
Responsibilities
- Execute personalized behavioral and service plans tailored to each individual's goals and needs
- Supervise daily activities and provide real-time coaching to help individuals develop independence and life skills
- Model positive behavior, communication, and problem-solving techniques throughout your shifts
- Offer encouragement, guidance, and constructive feedback to support ongoing personal development
- Maintain a safe, structured residential environment and respond appropriately to behavioral or medical concerns
- Document observations and progress in accordance with agency protocols
- Collaborate with clinical and supervisory staff to refine support strategies based on individual progress
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work a consistent evening and weekend schedule
- Patience, empathy, and genuine interest in supporting individuals with diverse needs
- Clear communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions
- Willingness to participate in required training and maintain professional standards
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Background check and health screening required
