About the Role
As a Direct Support Staff member with Advocates, you'll work hands-on in a residential setting, helping individuals build skills, confidence, and independence. This is a US-based, on-site (non-remote) position with a starting rate of $19.00 per hour and a consistent Monday-through-Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM — ideal for those seeking steady weekday hours while doing rewarding work.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct, hands-on assistance and personalized guidance to individuals in a residential home environment
- Encourage skill-building, daily living routines, and greater personal independence
- Foster a safe, respectful, and supportive atmosphere for every person you assist
- Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure consistent, high-quality care
Qualifications
- A genuine passion for helping others and a patient, caring approach
