Remote Language Arts Teacher (Part-Time)

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential education technology organization that delivers K–12 supplemental learning programs through live online instruction. We are seeking experienced Native-level English-Speaking Language Arts Teachers to join their remote teaching team on a part-time basis.

This is a flexible, work-from-home position designed for educators who are passionate about elementary literacy instruction and comfortable delivering engaging virtual classroom experiences. You'll teach live online classes focused on reading, speaking, and writing skills to small groups of young learners using a structured curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Deliver live online Language Arts classes emphasizing Reading, Speaking, and Writing skills for elementary-aged students
• Prepare and facilitate well-structured lessons using provided curriculum resources and teaching materials
• Manage virtual classrooms of approximately 10 students, maintaining engagement and classroom culture
• Grade student assignments, provide timely constructive feedback, and monitor individual progress
• Communicate professionally with students and families regarding learning objectives and performance
• Participate in ongoing teacher training sessions, curriculum planning discussions, and professional development activities
• Complete non-teaching duties including class preparation, homework review, parent communication, and periodic student feedback

What We're Looking For

• Native-level English speaker with excellent command of American English
• Bachelor's degree required (Education, English, or Language Arts majors strongly preferred)
• Previous U.S. public, private, or charter school ELA teaching experience preferred, particularly with grades 1–4
• Strong working knowledge of elementary reading instruction, literacy development methodologies, and writing support strategies
• Comfortable using online teaching platforms and managing virtual classroom technology
• Student-centered teaching approach with enthusiasm for inspiring young learners
• Ability to work 20–30 flexible hours per week, including afternoon/evening hours and weekends
• Commitment to at least one full semester (Spring, Summer, or Fall term)

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: Base teaching rate starts at $35 USD per teaching hour. Non-teaching compensation of $16–20 per hour covers preparation, grading, parent communication, and feedback activities. Performance-based student retention bonuses available. Additional compensation may apply for lesson planning, training participation, and professional development.
