About the Role

As an RN in Mercy's Career Path Program, you'll deliver comprehensive direct patient care across diverse patient populations while developing the clinical foundation for specialty advancement. This role emphasizes hands-on patient assessment, care planning, and evaluation within a structured mentorship environment designed to support your growth.

What You'll Do

• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans for medical-surgical patients across all age groups
• Coordinate care activities with ancillary departments and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and comfort
• Monitor vital signs, fluid balance, and clinical changes; respond promptly to patient needs and concerns
• Administer medications, treatments, and patient education within scope of practice
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record system
• Implement evidence-based nursing interventions while adhering to Mercy's clinical guidelines and protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and care team members to support safe, quality patient care

What We're Looking For

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
