Regional Manager

Premier Transportation is hiring a Regional Manager based in Wetumpka, Elmore County, to lead transportation operations across the Southeastern United States. As an industry leader in comprehensive logistical solutions, we're seeking an experienced operations professional ready to drive efficiency, compliance, and team performance at the regional level.

About the Role

In this full-time position, you'll oversee transportation operations spanning the Southeast, balancing strategic planning with hands-on leadership. Your focus will be on optimizing route efficiency, ensuring regulatory compliance, and strengthening supply chain performance. You'll lead a team of transportation professionals, manage operational budgets, and represent Premier Transportation with key customers and stakeholders across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day transportation and fleet operations throughout the Southeastern region
• Design and refine route planning systems to maximize efficiency and reduce costs
• Maintain strict adherence to federal DOT regulations and state transportation laws
• Lead, develop, and evaluate transportation staff to meet performance targets
• Track operational metrics, analyze trends, and report findings to senior leadership
• Foster relationships with regional customers and logistics partners
• Identify and implement process improvements across supply chain operations

Requirements

• Demonstrated leadership background in transportation, logistics, or operations management
• Strong grasp of transportation regulations, DOT compliance, and safety standards
• Proficiency with data analysis and operational reporting tools
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Transportation, or equivalent hands-on experience
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
• Valid driver's license and comfort traveling within the region as needed
