Regional Manager

Premier Transportation, a leading provider of comprehensive logistics and transportation solutions, is hiring a Regional Manager to lead transportation operations across the Southeastern region from our Abbeville office in Abbeville County. This full-time position offers an opportunity to drive operational excellence and strategic growth in a fast-paced logistics environment.

About the Role

As Regional Manager for Premier Transportation, you'll direct all aspects of transportation operations serving the Southeastern market. You'll manage multiple terminals, coordinate fleet activities, and ensure seamless supply chain execution. This leadership position requires hands-on involvement in strategic planning, team supervision, and performance management across your regional territory.

What You'll Do

• Lead transportation operations and fleet management across multiple locations in the Southeast
• Develop and optimize route planning and scheduling to improve delivery efficiency
• Ensure full compliance with Department of Transportation regulations and transportation safety standards
• Manage team performance, hiring, training, and development for direct and indirect reports
• Monitor key metrics including on-time delivery, safety indicators, and cost control
• Coordinate with customers and internal departments to resolve operational challenges
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen supply chain performance

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations
• Deep knowledge of transportation regulations, compliance requirements, and safety protocols
• Proven ability to manage P&L, budgets, and operational efficiency metrics
• Strong team leadership and people management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with transportation management systems and logistics software
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Willingness to travel within the Southeast region as needed
