Regional Sales Manager – Ohio

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential cybersecurity organization in their search for a Regional Sales Manager based in Ohio. Our client is a recognized leader in data security and compliance solutions, serving enterprise clients who need sophisticated approaches to data management and protection.

This is a high-impact sales role focused on driving new business and expansion growth across a defined territory. You'll be selling complex enterprise software to mid-market and large organizations, engaging with both technical and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and execute comprehensive account strategies to close new business and drive customer expansion across your territory
• Prepare and maintain accurate sales forecasts for your region
• Network within customer and prospect organizations to build pipeline and uncover opportunities
• Establish and maintain business relationships with key executives and senior-level decision-makers
• Maintain up-to-date account intelligence in CRM systems, including regular forecasting to sales and executive leadership
• Manage territory quota and named accounts to achievement
• Direct inside sales and marketing resources to maximize territory coverage and opportunity generation

What We're Looking For

• 5-10+ years of direct enterprise software sales experience selling to mid-size and large organizations
• Proven track record of closing six and seven-figure software licensing deals within your territory
• Measurable success in new business development and consistently overachieving sales targets
• Prior experience selling data security or related enterprise software solutions
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate value and present effectively to technical and executive audiences
• Experience selling complex enterprise solutions and comfort operating in fast-growing, dynamic environments
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Ohio
• Ability to exercise independent judgment with minimal oversight

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $150,000 – $165,000 annually, plus variable/bonus compensation and equity incentives aligned with individual and company performance.
