About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential education technology organization that connects ambitious professionals with expert coaching and career development resources. Our talent team is seeking an experienced quantitative finance coach to work with students and professionals pursuing careers in quant finance.
This is a flexible, contract-based coaching role where you'll set your own hours and rates while working remotely across the United States. You'll help candidates navigate the full career journey in quantitative finance, from technical skill development to landing competitive roles.
Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one coaching sessions for students and professionals targeting quantitative finance careers
- Guide clients on applying AI fundamentals and automation to modern quantitative workflows
- Conduct resume reviews, cover letter critiques, and LinkedIn profile optimization
- Prepare candidates for behavioral and technical interviews in quantitative finance
- Support salary negotiation strategies and promotion planning
- Advise on networking strategies to help candidates land and grow within quant roles
- Host virtual coaching sessions on your own schedule
- Partner with our client's team to ensure a high-quality, supportive experience for every student
What We're Looking For
- Professional experience working in quantitative finance
- Prior coaching, mentoring, or teaching experience
- Clear, structured approach to breaking down both technical and career development topics
- Strong communication skills and ability to simplify complex concepts
- Familiarity with AI tools and their application in quantitative workflows
- Passion for helping others achieve their career goals
- Self-motivated with ability to manage your own schedule
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, virtual environment
