QA/QC Intern

About This Opportunity

We are representing a Y Combinator-backed technology startup that is transforming how organizations connect with talent at scale. Our client operates in the HR technology space, building AI-powered solutions used by millions of candidates across high-growth markets. This is a remote QA/QC internship where you will play a critical role in ensuring product quality for a platform that directly impacts job seekers' success.

Responsibilities

• Conduct rigorous testing of AI-driven interview workflows across a wide range of mobile devices, browsers, and network conditions
• Identify and document edge cases that occur in real-world scenarios, particularly on lower-end devices and unstable connections
• Adopt a "breaker" mindset to proactively find issues before users encounter them—testing scenarios like interrupted connections, denied permissions, and device-specific failures
• Collaborate directly with Engineering and Product teams on release management, providing final quality sign-off before features ship
• Transform unclear bug reports into clear, actionable engineering tickets with precise reproduction steps
• Continuously improve testing processes by analyzing user feedback data and identifying workflow gaps

What We're Looking For

• Exceptional attention to detail—you notice when UI elements are misaligned or when performance lags unnecessarily
• Technical aptitude: comfortable using browser developer tools (Inspect Element) and analyzing network errors
• Strong empathy for end users and understanding that bugs can have real consequences for people seeking employment
• Logical thinking skills to isolate root causes rather than just documenting symptoms
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with strong communication skills
• Bonus: Interest in product development, data analytics, or software engineering; curiosity about technical systems

Compensation
