Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – Illinois

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential telehealth organization seeking Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners to provide virtual care for clients in Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians who want the flexibility of self-scheduling with the support of a collaborative clinical team. We are seeking both part-time and full-time practitioners who can commit to a minimum of 16 hours per week.

This is a 1099 contract position offering remote work, flexible scheduling within operating hours (8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week), and a supportive environment with mentorship and continuing education opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations via telehealth for adult clients
• Collaboratively develop treatment plans that may include medication management, therapy, or both
• Provide various modalities of talk therapy in combined medication and therapy appointments
• Follow up with clients at minimum monthly to assess treatment efficacy and adjust care plans
• Maintain excellent clinical documentation
• Proactively support clients until treatment goals are achieved

What We're Looking For

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
• Active Illinois Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License (required)
• ANCC Board Certification (required)
• Active Illinois DEA (required)
• 2+ years of experience working in adult mental health (preferred)
• Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Comfort providing talk therapy in combination with medication management
• Client-centric work ethic and collaborative approach
• Own computer and quiet, professional space for telehealth appointments
• Available for weekday and weekend scheduling

Pay
