About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential engineering consultancy in Stuttgart that is seeking a motivated intern to join their sales team. This mandatory internship (Pflichtpraktikum) offers hands-on responsibility in a growing organization focused on sustainable building solutions. Our client works at the intersection of technical consulting and customer engagement, making this an ideal opportunity for students who want to see how engineering meets sales in practice.

You'll work directly with the sales team, manage real client inquiries, and contribute to campaigns that support energy-efficient building projects. This isn't about coffee runs—you'll own tasks, propose improvements, and see your ideas implemented.

Responsibilities

• Create client proposals independently and track inquiry status using CRM tools
• Serve as first point of contact for customer inquiries, qualifying and routing them appropriately
• Plan and execute email campaigns and webinars from concept through performance analysis
• Support technical consultants by calculating the impact of building retrofit measures on real properties
• Gain exposure to how technical analysis and sales processes work together
• Contribute to process improvements and help build new workflows
• Bring ideas to the table—good suggestions get implemented

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a technical degree program (such as Industrial Engineering, Energy and Building Technology, or comparable)
• Seeking a mandatory internship (Pflichtpraktikum) to fulfill degree requirements
• Genuine interest and enthusiasm for direct customer contact
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Excellent German language proficiency (required for client interactions)
• Careful, structured, analytical, and independent working style
• Confident user of MS Office, particularly Excel
