IT-Systemadministrator – Schwerpunkt Infrastruktur (m/w/x)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential manufacturing organization seeking an IT Systems Administrator with a focus on infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for the stable operation of the IT landscape and actively contribute to its continuous development.

• Handle and resolve 2nd-level tickets within the infrastructure environment
• Analyze, prioritize, and sustainably resolve complex technical issues
• Operate, administer, and continuously optimize IT systems
• Participate in rollouts, change management, and IT projects
• Support the development of IT security and infrastructure standards

What We're Looking For

Our client requires solid knowledge and experience in several of the following areas:

• Security & Monitoring: Email security solutions, firewall management, endpoint protection, network monitoring tools
• Microsoft / Cloud: Exchange administration (users, shared mailboxes, distribution lists, resources, rules, connectors), hybrid cloud environments, multi-factor authentication, collaboration platforms, identity management
• Server & Virtualization: Windows Server, virtualization platforms, virtual desktop infrastructure, backup solutions, patch management, print services
• Network & Infrastructure: VLAN configuration, switching, DMZ, Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, IP management
• Client Systems: Remote application platforms, software deployment and packaging, ticketing systems, two-factor authentication, Linux administration
• Database & Automation: SQL Server installation and troubleshooting, PowerShell scripting
• Hardware: Server and workstation operation, management, and inventory tracking

Professional Background:

• Completed IT training (e.g., IT specialist in system integration) or comparable qualification through professional experience
• Career changers with demonstrable interest and practical experience in IT infrastructure/IT support are explicitly welcome
• Initial to several years of experience in IT support (1st/2nd level) or IT infrastructure operations preferred
• In-depth knowledge of several of the mentioned technologies
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working approach
• Team player with initiative and sense of responsibility
• German language proficiency required for this role
