Full Stack React Developer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential client in the analytics and data intelligence space. They are building a new SaaS product that leverages large-scale datasets and machine learning to help businesses make data-driven decisions. We're looking for a Full Stack React Developer to join their Global Analytics and AI team on a contract basis.

This is a fully remote position within the United States. You'll be balancing user experience with technical requirements, working across the stack, and translating complex needs into practical solutions that create real impact.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user interfaces for a new SaaS platform using React
• Write clean, maintainable unit and integration tests for frontend applications
• Work with Python for analytics and data science workloads
• Balance technical stability with pragmatic business needs across different stakeholders
• Navigate different areas of the codebase independently with minimal guidance
• Collaborate with remote team members to ship high-quality features
• Craft semantic, accessible HTML with modern CSS implementations

What We're Looking For

Required Skills:

• Deep experience building UI applications with React
• Strong testing experience with Jest and React Testing Library
• Experience working in Python, particularly for analytics and data science use cases
• Very strong fundamentals in CSS, JavaScript, and HTML
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for a fully remote environment
• Strong problem-solving ability with minimal guidance
• Bias toward action and shipping value quickly
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Comfortable working as a freelance contractor

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience with Spark and SparkSQL
• Data science fundamentals: large dataset handling, data testing, query optimization, statistical analysis
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and concepts
• Fintech industry experience
