Head of Business Operations (SolarBalls)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential media organization that is expanding one of its flagship animated entertainment brands. Our talent team is searching for a Head of Business Operations to partner directly with the Creative Director and help scale this growing IP ecosystem beyond its core content into new formats, products, and business opportunities.

This is a strategic operational leadership role based in Serbia, ideal for someone who can translate creative vision into execution plans while driving initiatives across games, licensing, partnerships, consumer products, and educational ventures.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary operational partner to the Creative Director, translating strategic priorities into clear execution plans
• Own coordination and follow-through of high-priority initiatives across multiple teams and stakeholders
• Manage project timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and priorities to ensure consistent progress
• Identify bottlenecks and proactively drive solutions before they impact delivery
• Create visibility across ongoing initiatives by maintaining clear tracking of progress, priorities, and next steps
• Coordinate communication between creative, production, operations, leadership, and external partners
• Build systems, workflows, documentation, and processes that enable effective scaling
• Support strategic development and expansion of the entertainment IP beyond core content
• Evaluate, structure, and drive new growth initiatives across games, licensing, partnerships, and consumer products
• Work with internal teams and external partners to move business initiatives from concept to execution
• Support market research, opportunity evaluation, partner coordination, and strategic planning
• Ensure business opportunities remain aligned with creative vision and long-term brand direction

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in Business Operations, Chief of Staff, Project Management, Program Management, Business Development, or Operations Leadership roles
• Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution
• Strong ability to create structure in ambiguous environments and independently drive initiatives forward
• Experience as a trusted partner to founders, executives, creative leaders, or senior stakeholders
• Excellent project management skills including prioritization, timeline management, stakeholder coordination, and risk management
• Business-oriented mindset with ability to identify opportunities and support strategic growth
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority
• Experience in fast-moving startup, media, entertainment, gaming, technology, or creative environments highly preferred
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills required
• Spanish fluency strongly preferred
• Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Notion, ClickUp, or similar platforms
