About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential biotech startup in Munich that is developing sustainable alternatives through fungal biotechnology. Our talent team is searching for an Entrepreneur in Residence Intern to support the founders through a critical growth phase, including their upcoming Seed fundraising round.

This is a rare opportunity to work directly with experienced founders who have over 15 years each in their respective fields of biotechnology and business operations. You'll gain hands-on experience in how venture-backed startups are built and financed, with responsibilities held to the same standard as a full-time hire.

Responsibilities

• Support founders in daily operational tasks and strategic projects across business development
• Assist with fundraising activities including investor research, pitch deck development, data room organization, and meeting preparation
• Conduct market and competitive analyses to strengthen investor narrative and strategic positioning
• Validate new business cases through expert interviews and research
• Contribute to marketing content and early B2B outreach aligned with go-to-market strategy
• Help position the company as a category leader at investor meetings, industry events, and trade fairs
• Work in structured sprints with clear deliverables and direct founder feedback

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree (6th semester or later) or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Management, or related field
• Business fluent in both English and German

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Previous internship experience in consulting, venture capital, private equity, or investment banking
• Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel with ability to create compelling presentations from complex data
• Comfortable working with AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT as part of daily workflow
• Self-starter with get-things-done attitude who takes initiative without requiring direction
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced startup environments
• Natural curiosity with tendency to ask insightful follow-up questions
• Authentic work style, whether introverted, extroverted, hands-on, or analytical
• Interest in cosmetics, personal care, or biotechnology applications
