Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential real estate organization in Gelsenkirchen seeking a Senior Real Estate Finance Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for securing and structuring appropriate financing solutions for property portfolios and investment initiatives.

• Source and structure financing for existing real estate assets and planned investment measures
• Identify and utilize both conventional and subsidized financing opportunities, including public funding programs
• Monitor financing and subsidy markets to evaluate new funding opportunities
• Develop and assess financing concepts tailored to various project requirements
• Engage, select, and negotiate with banks, funding agencies, and other financial partners
• Guide financing processes from initial conception through successful implementation
• Review existing financing structures and identify optimization potential
• Prepare financial analyses and decision frameworks for investment projects
• Build and maintain a robust network with banks, municipalities, public institutions, and relevant market partners
• Collaborate closely with internal finance, property management, and investment teams

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in business/economics, banking qualification, or comparable education
• Several years of professional experience in real estate finance, corporate finance, or similar financial environments
• Background in banking, particularly real estate finance or corporate client business, is explicitly welcomed
• Proven experience structuring and securing debt capital for real estate or investment projects
• Knowledge of public subsidy programs and promotional financing is advantageous
• Strong, reliable network with municipalities, public institutions, banks, and relevant financing partners
• Ideally experienced working with municipal and public sector stakeholders and their decision-making structures
• Excellent understanding of financing models, economic relationships, and evaluation of complex investment projects
• Strong networking, communication, and negotiation skills with confident presence across diverse stakeholders
• Analytical, structured, and independent working style
• Proficient with MS Office and modern digital tools
• German language proficiency required for this role

Pay

Compensation up to approximately €100,000 annual gross salary is possible depending on experience and qualifications, paid by the client employer.
