Product Owner (all genders) – Management Suite Tribe

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential enterprise software organization in Augsburg that is seeking an experienced Product Owner to join their Unified Endpoint Management development team. This role offers the opportunity to shape modern UEM solutions, working at the intersection of technical complexity and product strategy within an agile, multi-squad environment.

As Product Owner, you will take content responsibility for two development squads focused on Windows Endpoint Management capabilities, including client-server communication, compliance management, OS deployment, and update management. You will work closely with development teams, product management, support, consulting, and customers to translate requirements into valuable, prioritized features.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development for two development squads within the endpoint management platform, focusing on Windows client management, compliance, and automation features
• Translate technical and functional requirements into clear product backlog items with testable acceptance criteria
• Prioritize the product backlog based on customer value, effort, dependencies, and stakeholder input
• Serve as the primary contact for content-related and product questions from development teams, ensuring transparency and focused execution
• Balance maintenance, quality improvements, and new feature development across the product lifecycle
• Collaborate with product management, support, consulting, customers, and external development partners to gather feedback and define requirements
• Coordinate external teams and projects, ensuring clear requirements and reliable integration into product development
• Leverage AI tools pragmatically to enhance productivity in feature creation, requirements structuring, and stakeholder prototyping

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience as a Product Owner or in a comparable role with product responsibility in an agile software development environment
• Proven experience providing content leadership for multiple development teams and coordinating external projects or developers
• Strong working knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and backlog management tools (ideally Azure DevOps), plus experience with scaled agile frameworks
• Solid understanding of or strong interest in Unified Endpoint Management, Client Lifecycle Management, and Windows-based IT infrastructures
• Ability to quickly grasp technical complexity and translate it into clear, prioritizable requirements
• Analytical, data-driven decision-making approach with high quality standards
• Excellent communication skills in both German and English, with experience working across diverse stakeholder groups
• Ability to provide content leadership collaboratively, creating clarity and fostering open team communication
• Bonus qualifications: background in IT administration, practical software development knowledge, experience with Azure technology stack, or familiarity with Linux, macOS, Android, or iOS platforms
