About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential financial services organization in München that is seeking an experienced IT Team Leader to oversee their Finance & Risk systems. Our client operates in a highly regulated environment and requires strong leadership to ensure stable, secure, and cost-effective delivery of critical business applications.

This is a leadership role where you'll manage both people and technology, driving the continued development of SAP and risk-related systems while working closely with business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide both technical and disciplinary leadership for your assigned team members, supporting their professional and personal development
• Own the operation, maintenance, and evolution of applications and services in the Risk & Finance domain, including SAP systems
• Manage internal and external resources and coordinate with relevant service providers
• Prioritize and implement requirements in alignment with business units and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with quality, security, regulatory, and architecture standards
• Oversee planning, budgeting, risk management, and capacity planning within your team

What We're Looking For

• Several years of professional experience in IT, including proven experience leading teams and project groups
• Extensive knowledge of highly regulated business environments
• Strong background in SAP and/or risk-relevant business processes
• Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making capabilities
• Strong customer and service orientation combined with entrepreneurial thinking
• Fluency in both German and English, written and spoken
• Based in or willing to relocate to the München area
