About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential renewable energy technology organization based in Heidelberg, Germany. Our talent team is seeking a working student for People Operations to support HR functions across multiple business units. This role offers flexible scheduling to accommodate your university commitments while gaining hands-on experience in human resources.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for employees and managers on day-to-day HR matters (approximately 60% of role)
• Maintain personnel files and HR systems, including HiBob platform administration
• Process benefits administration and respond to HR mailbox inquiries
• Support HR projects such as corporate social responsibility initiatives (approximately 20% of role)
• Contribute ideas for process optimization and efficiency improvements
• Coordinate organizational tasks using modern digital collaboration tools
• Occasional travel within Germany as needed

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled student with availability for a working student position
• Highly communicative personality with proactive approach to stakeholder engagement
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• High level of discretion when handling confidential employee data
• Fluent German language skills required; English proficiency is advantageous
• Ability to work with digital tools including Slack, HiBob, Notion, Asana, Google Workspace, and benefits platforms
• Prior practical experience in HR tasks is a plus but not required—attitude and aptitude matter most
• Ability to travel occasionally within Germany
