Product Owner (all genders)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential consulting organization seeking a Product Owner to shape digital products, processes, and solutions that deliver real value. In this role, you will own the product vision, translate requirements into actionable solutions, and bring together departments, IT teams, stakeholders, and external partners.

Your responsibilities include:

• Digital solution design and development: Develop ideas and target visions for digital products and processes. Structure and prioritize requirements, translating them into implementable solutions. Guide digital solutions through all phases from conception to launch and ongoing evolution.
• Project steering and implementation: Plan and coordinate IT and digitalization projects while maintaining oversight of objectives, timelines, quality, and resources. Create transparency around progress, dependencies, and outstanding decisions. Ensure concepts become functioning solutions alongside project participants.
• Requirements and stakeholder management: Capture, question, structure, and align requirements with relevant stakeholders. Moderate differing interests and drive decisions forward. Support change management and help anchor new processes and solutions successfully within the organization.
• Advisory and knowledge transfer: Support evaluation and selection of suitable digital solutions and technologies. Accompany procurement processes including tenders and proposal assessments as needed. Prepare complex topics in understandable formats and support users through workshops, training, and appropriate materials.

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience in digital projects, IT projects, product development, or comparable roles with direct ownership
• Strong understanding of users, processes, and technical relationships
• Ability to structure complexity and drive decisions
• Excellent German and English language skills (minimum C1 level in both)
• High willingness to travel (50% presence required in Würzburg)
• Experience working situationally—applying agile or classical approaches based on what actually works
