About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential risk intelligence software company seeking a Product Manager to lead their Social Intelligence product line. This is a unique opportunity to apply real-world security and threat assessment expertise to product development, turning operational challenges into software solutions that help security teams identify credible threats and protect people at scale.
This role sits at the intersection of security operations and product strategy. You will own how organizations detect emerging threats from open sources, separate meaningful signals from noise, and respond with confidence when it matters most.
Responsibilities
- Develop deep expertise in corporate security, intelligence analyst, executive protection, threat assessment, and brand protection personas—understanding how their work is structured, measured, and escalated
- Conduct continuous customer discovery through interviews, ride-alongs, and feedback sessions that produce specific problem statements rather than feature requests
- Own a value stream in the Risk Intelligence roadmap: decide what to build, defer, and decline, with clear reasoning that balances business objectives, customer needs, and industry trends
- Partner with Engineering and Design to translate customer problems into specifications, acceptance criteria, and deliverable milestones
- Use AI development and design tools (Claude Code, Claude Design, Codex) to build working prototypes, pressure-test concepts, and validate ideas with customers in days rather than quarters
- Define success metrics before launch and analyze product usage data and customer outcomes after release to inform future prioritization
- Work with Product Marketing to position new capabilities, shape messaging, and equip customer-facing teams to sell and support features effectively
- Lead internal training, demos, and Q&A sessions to ensure the organization understands what shipped and why it matters
- Track industry trends, threat landscape shifts, platform changes, and regulatory developments, translating them into roadmap implications
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Operational experience protecting people, businesses, or brands in corporate security, intelligence, threat assessment, executive protection, law enforcement, military, a global security operations center, or comparable environment
- Hands-on experience using social and open-source threat intelligence products as a practitioner, with a clear point of view on their strengths and weaknesses
- Working knowledge of manual open-source intelligence tradecraft including source discovery and validation, platform-specific search and Boolean logic, geolocation and imagery verification, persona and account analysis, and corroboration across sources
- Product management experience or demonstrated ownership of product-adjacent functions such as intelligence program design, tooling selection, or internal capability building
- Strong analytical judgment and comfort making decisions from incomplete or conflicting information
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills, able to hold technical conversations with Engineering and strategic conversations with executives
- Comfort with tools like Jira, Confluence, and product analytics software
- Collaborative, no-ego approach with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Resourcefulness and ability to keep moving forward when the path is unclear
- Must have existing authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred:
- Experience building or scaling an intelligence function, including analyst workflow design, reporting standards, and escalation criteria
- Familiarity with Agile delivery, APIs, system integrations, or data pipelines
- Exposure to threat assessment frameworks such as WAVR-21 or RAGE-V
- Experience with product enablement or go-to-market support
