About This Opportunity
We are representing a leading European data and AI consulting firm with a strong presence across multiple continents. Our client is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join their Paris team and work with major corporations across retail, luxury, consumer goods, healthcare, finance, and industrial sectors.
This role sits within a thriving analytics team of 60+ professionals, part of a broader technical community of 160+ specialists. You'll work on high-impact client engagements while contributing to a collaborative culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Frame analytics use cases with business stakeholders, validate data availability, and define implementation approaches
- Design and build dashboards, data products, and pipelines that enable business decision-making
- Translate business requirements into scalable analytics architectures and data models
- Apply modern analytics engineering practices including proper data modeling, testing, and version control
- Leverage generative AI capabilities to maximize value delivery for clients
- Extract actionable insights from complex datasets and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor, building strong relationships with client teams
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team knowledge through workshops and documentation
- Participate in internal technical communities and maintain awareness of emerging technologies
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in data-driven environments
- Deep expertise in at least one of these domains:
- Dashboarding & Visualization: Power BI, Looker, Tableau, or Superset
- Analytics Engineering: dbt with BigQuery, Snowflake, or Databricks
- Marketing Analytics: CDP platforms (Treasure Data, Hightouch, Tealium), MMM, attribution, clean rooms
- Low-Code Data Science: Dataiku, Copilot Studio, or similar platforms
- Strong SQL and Python skills
- Experience with Git and software engineering fundamentals (versioning, testing, code quality)
- Hands-on experience working in cloud environments (GCP, Azure, or AWS)
- Intellectual curiosity and pragmatic problem-solving approach
- Ability to bridge business and technical teams effectively
- Strong communication skills to build client trust and credibility
- Autonomy and reliability in project delivery
Nice to Have:
- Experience applying generative AI to analytics workflows (conversational interfaces, AI-assisted BI)
- Breadth across multiple analytics domains listed above
- Understanding of statistics and machine learning fundamentals
