About This Opportunity
We are representing a leading data and AI consulting firm with a strong presence across Europe and beyond. Our client is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join their expanding analytics practice in Paris. This role offers the opportunity to work with major international corporations across retail, luxury, consumer goods, healthcare, finance, and industrial sectors, delivering high-impact data solutions that drive business transformation.
You'll be part of a 60-person analytics team within a broader technical community of 160+ professionals, working on cutting-edge projects while benefiting from a collaborative culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end analytics projects from requirements gathering through deployment, partnering with business stakeholders to frame use cases and validate data availability
- Design and implement dashboards, data products, and pipelines that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization
- Translate business requirements into scalable analytics architectures using modern analytics engineering practices
- Apply data modeling best practices and maintain high standards for testing and code quality
- Leverage generative AI developments to maximize client value delivery
- Extract actionable insights from complex datasets and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders on analytics strategy and implementation
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team development through workshops, documentation, and knowledge sharing
- Maintain active technology watch and contribute to internal tools and accelerators
What We're Looking For
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in a data-driven environment
- Deep expertise in at least one of the following domains:
- Dashboarding and data visualization (Power BI, Looker, Tableau, or Superset)
- Analytics engineering (dbt) with experience on BigQuery, Snowflake, or Databricks
- Marketing analytics and measurement (CDP platforms like Treasure Data, Hightouch, Tealium, MMM, attribution, clean rooms)
- Low-code/no-code data science platforms (Dataiku, Copilot Studio, or similar)
- Strong foundation in SQL and Python
- Familiarity with Git and software engineering fundamentals including versioning, testing, and code quality practices
- Experience working in cloud environments (GCP, Azure, or AWS)
- Fluency in French and English
Valuable additional experience:
- Exposure to generative AI applied to analytics (MCP for BI, conversational data interfaces)
- Working knowledge across multiple analytics domains
- Understanding of statistics and machine learning fundamentals
