Stage Data Analyst – Paris (H/F/X)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential data consulting organization seeking a Data Analyst intern to join their Paris team. In this role, you will work closely with consultants and data scientists on client projects that deliver measurable business impact. Your responsibilities will include:

• Collecting, cleaning, and preparing data from diverse sources including internal databases, APIs, and logs
• Exploring and analyzing datasets to identify trends, anomalies, correlations, and actionable patterns
• Designing and building dashboards and reports using data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or similar platforms to present findings to teams and clients
• Contributing to the definition of relevant KPIs aligned with business objectives
• Collaborating with business teams (marketing, product, etc.) to understand their needs and translate requirements into actionable analyses
• Automating reporting processes and simple analytical workflows
• Documenting your work, sharing results and learnings with the team, and proposing improvements or new approaches when appropriate

What we're looking for

Our client is seeking a final-year student in an engineering program, Master 2, or equivalent, specializing in Data, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science. The ideal candidate is available for a 6-month internship starting January 2027.

Technical skills:

• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
• Strong knowledge of Python for data analysis (pandas, numpy, etc.)
• Solid understanding of fundamental statistical principles (averages, distributions, tests, correlations, variance, etc.)
• Ability to create visualizations and dashboards using Tableau, PowerBI, or equivalent tools
• Basic knowledge of the digital and data ecosystem (web analytics, data lakes, data visualization, etc.) is a plus

• Logical and analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to explain results to non-technical audiences
• Strong teamwork capabilities and ability to listen and understand business needs
• Proactive, curious, and able to propose new ideas or approaches
• Autonomous while comfortable with guidance and feedback
• Fluent in French (oral and written); professional English is a plus for documentation and exchanges

Pay
