About This Position

We are seeking a Cyber Security Engineer II to join our team at Ping Identity. As a key member of our security engineering group, you will be responsible for building and deploying security automation, hardening security controls, and contributing to the overall security posture of our enterprise systems.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security solutions that meet industry standards and best practices
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and mitigate risks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security requirements are integrated into product development cycles
• Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies
• Document security policies, procedures, and best practices for the organization

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Cyber Security Engineer or similar role
• Proficiency with security tools and technologies, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and encryption solutions
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, PCI DSS)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
