Responsibilities

We are representing a well-funded cybersecurity startup seeking a Product Engineer (Full Stack) to join their early engineering team in Europe. In this role, you will own the complete development lifecycle of customer-facing features, from UI components through API implementation to database optimization.

Your day-to-day work will include:

  • Building end-to-end product features using React, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, and the TanStack ecosystem for the front-end
  • Designing and implementing performant REST APIs using Python and FastAPI
  • Optimizing database queries and data access patterns for performance at scale
  • Making autonomous technical decisions and executing rapidly without waiting for detailed specifications
  • Continuously improving application performance across the entire stack
  • Participating in architectural discussions and technical planning as the team grows
  • Balancing startup velocity with code quality and exceptional customer experience

What We're Looking For

Our client needs a genuinely full-stack engineer—someone equally skilled on both front-end and back-end, not primarily one with light experience in the other.

Required qualifications:

  • 6+ years building production applications with strong command of both front-end and back-end development
  • Deep, hands-on experience with TypeScript and React in production environments, including component architecture and performance optimization
  • Proven track record designing and building performant RESTful APIs with server-side frameworks
  • Direct B2B SaaS product experience building features for business users
  • Strong understanding of database interactions and query optimization
  • Startup velocity mindset—you thrive in fast-paced environments and take action without perfect specs
  • Exceptional attention to detail while maintaining speed
  • Comfortable working autonomously with end-to-end ownership
  • Located in Europe

Beneficial experience:

  • Python and FastAPI
  • Kubernetes/EKS deployment environments
  • Temporal workflow orchestration
  • PostgreSQL optimization and performance tuning at scale
  • Integrating LLMs into production applications
  • TailwindCSS, TanStack Router/Query/Table, shadcn/ui, Radix UI
  • Cloud platforms and infrastructure-as-code
  • Design system or component library development

How We Work with You

When you apply through Get A Job.ai, our talent team will conduct an initial screening to understand your background and technical experience. We'll discuss your full-stack capabilities, your experience with modern React and API development, and your comfort level working in fast-paced startup environments.

After our screening, we submit qualified candidates to our client for their review. The client then manages their own interview process directly with candidates we've introduced. Please do not attempt to contact the client directly, as all applications must come through our recruiting process.

Pay

Compensation details will be discussed during the screening process based on your experience level and location within Europe.

Get A Job.ai is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic. We evaluate candidates based on qualifications and merit.
