About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential mobility technology scale-up based in München that is seeking a working student to join their Finance & Controlling team. This is an excellent opportunity for a student who wants to go beyond textbook theory and take on real responsibility in a growing organization from day one.

Our client operates in the digital infrastructure space and is at an exciting growth stage. You'll work closely with an 8-person finance team, supporting day-to-day operations, month-end and year-end closing activities, and helping modernize finance processes through automation and AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Support preparation of monthly and annual financial closings
• Process accounting entries in DATEV and assist with ongoing payment operations
• Create, review, and send invoices and credit notes, maintaining cost center, account, and vendor data in Excel and HubSpot
• Contribute to digitalization and automation projects by actively questioning recurring manual finance processes and proposing improvements using AI tools
• Support data maintenance and analysis, including country-specific reports and data imports
• Handle correspondence with customers and suppliers, supporting daily operational tasks
• Participate in cross-functional projects across departments

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable program
• Practical experience with invoice creation, account coding, and budget-vs-actual comparisons
• Structured, detail-oriented, and reliable working style
• Strong proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
• High self-motivation, affinity for numbers, and an open, communicative personality
• Experience working with common AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, or ChatGPT, with enthusiasm for making finance processes smarter

Work Arrangement: Working student contract for the duration of your studies, up to 20 hours per week during the semester, up to 40 hours per week during semester breaks. Hybrid work setup with the possibility to work remotely within the EU. Location: München (Neue Balan).
