About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential SaaS organization in the United Kingdom that is seeking a Principal Product Solution Engineer. This role sits at the intersection of customer needs and product strategy, working within cross-functional squads to build scalable configuration solutions that solve real problems at scale.

You'll build advanced solutions using low-code platforms, validate product hypotheses through rapid prototyping, and provide technical guidance on partner integrations. This is a senior individual contributor position where your platform expertise will directly influence roadmap decisions and ecosystem strategy.

Responsibilities

Solution Validation & Building (50% of role):

• Design and build advanced configuration solutions on proprietary low-code platforms for complex customer use cases
• Progress solutions through maturity stages from pilot (5 customers) to scaled production (500+ customers)
• Identify patterns across customer requirements to create generalizable solutions rather than one-off implementations
• Partner with engineering teams from project inception to ensure smooth productization handoff
• Translate customer pain points into technical requirements for product squads
• Participate in Voice of Customer sessions and occasional customer site visits

Platform & Partner Strategy (30% of role):

• Contribute to "build versus partner" decisions for applications and integrations using deep platform knowledge
• Review design of partner-developed applications to ensure platform integrity, scalability, and alignment with product strategy
• Provide technical guidance on partner integration feasibility and architecture
• Educate internal teams (Services, Support, Sales) on platform capabilities and partner offerings
• Collaborate with partnership organization to establish partner development guidelines

Innovation & Team Leadership (20% of role):

• Experiment with AI-assisted development tools to build rapid prototypes for validation
• Mentor team members on platform best practices, scalable configuration patterns, and common pitfalls
• Contribute to evolving validation playbooks based on practical experience
• Share insights that inform partner development frameworks and integration standards

What We're Looking For

Required Experience:

• 4-6 years building solutions on low-code/no-code platforms such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, OutSystems, Mendix, or PowerApps
• 2+ years of experience with EHS/quality management platforms strongly preferred — deep platform expertise is essential for guiding partner decisions and mentoring the team
• Proven ability to scale solutions from prototype to production serving hundreds of customers
• Strong systems thinking with natural ability to identify patterns across use cases and design for generalization
• Experience working in product-focused environments where iteration speed is prioritized
• Partner ecosystem familiarity through implementing partner integrations or applications
• Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change in evolving process environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of multiple low-code platforms to bring external best practices
• EHS or quality management domain knowledge (compliance, auditing, incident management)
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code
• Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for customization work
• Experience with remote collaboration across time zones

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field. Equivalent practical experience building platform-based solutions will also be considered.

• Want to write production code in traditional languages like Java/Python/C# as your primary focus
• Need highly structured processes and clear long-term roadmaps
• Prefer deep technical architecture over pragmatic solutions optimized for speed of learning
• View this as pure partner management (70% of your time is building and validating product solutions)
