Ethique Social & Community Sr. Manager – Contractor

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential clean beauty brand in their search for a Social & Community Senior Manager on a contract basis. Our client is a certified B Corp operating across multiple countries with retail presence in major US chains. This is a remote, contractor position where you'll have the opportunity to shape how an emerging brand shows up in the world.

If you get excited about building brand presence from the ground up—where your ideas get tested and executed quickly—this role is for you. You'll own social media strategy, creator partnerships, community engagement, and scrappy activations that build authentic brand love. One day you're developing quarterly content strategy; the next, you're sourcing UGC creators in niche communities.

Responsibilities

• Social Media: Own day-to-day strategy and execution including content calendars, briefing, sourcing (including UGC creators), posting, and community management
• Creator Partnerships: Develop and execute influencer strategy, identify nano and micro creators, coordinate gifting, and manage ongoing relationships
• Community Engagement: Actively participate in Reddit threads, Facebook groups, and other online communities where your target audience discusses beauty and sustainability—representing the brand authentically without aggressive selling
• Partnerships & Activations: Identify and manage collaborative opportunities, events, sampling programs, and other brand-building initiatives from concept through execution
• Team Leadership: Manage and motivate an outsourced coordinator who supports administrative functions across these responsibilities

What We're Looking For

• Approximately 5 years of post-graduation experience in marketing, community management, content creation, creator relations, or adjacent fields
• Proven experience planning and executing social strategies across Instagram and TikTok
• Hands-on experience sourcing creators and managing user-generated content programs
• Track record of building communities or managing social media presence at any scale
• Comfortable with ambiguity and willing to test strategies that may not initially succeed
• Collaborative, kind, and even-tempered—our client operates with a small, close-knit team
• Excited about ground-floor opportunities to build something that compounds over time
• Able to toggle between scrappy execution and strategic thinking in the same day
• Genuine passion for or background in beauty, sustainability, or outdoor lifestyle
• Bonus: Experience capturing social content yourself
• Bonus: Experience with affiliate creator programs across TikTok Shop, Amazon Creators, LTK, or Shop My

Pay
