Software Verification & QA Specialist

Our client operates in the software security and risk mitigation space, providing critical services to businesses worldwide. Responsibilities

• Conduct verification of customer software using provided technical documentation and achieve successful software builds across multiple programming languages
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve build issues to ensure software meets quality standards
• Perform end-to-end testing of application features across various scenarios using both manual and automated testing methods
• Identify, document, and report bugs or inconsistencies to maintain a high-quality user experience
• Analyze software requirements and technical documentation to understand build processes and dependencies
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional team members to understand requirements and provide timely updates
• Stay current with emerging technologies and programming languages relevant to software verification
• Contribute to continuous improvement of verification processes and testing practices
• Assist with backend, frontend, and DevOps tasks as needed, including CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of software development or DevOps experience
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Linux, Windows, and Mac environment fundamentals
• Basic understanding of popular backend languages including Python, Java, NodeJS, and PHP
• Prior experience or solid understanding of database and server configuration (MongoDB, SQL, MySQL)
• Prior experience or understanding of Git version control
• Basic knowledge of front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is beneficial
• Basic knowledge of AWS technologies is beneficial
• Basic knowledge of API configuration is beneficial
• Experience with build tools such as msbuild, webpack, maven, or similar is beneficial
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze technical documentation and identify key requirements
• Excellent problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve complex software issues
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to adapt quickly to various programming environments and learn new technologies
• Strong team player with excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
