Role Overview
As Principal Engineer, Civil Structures at Ramboll, you'll take a leadership role in designing, developing, and overseeing complex structural systems. What You'll Do
- Lead the design and technical development of civil structures for renewable energy and infrastructure projects
- Oversee feasibility studies and site assessments to inform structural engineering strategies
- Conduct structural analysis and apply advanced engineering principles to solve complex design challenges
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering professional development within the team
- Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, codes, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural solutions into larger project frameworks
- Review technical documentation and quality-assure engineering deliverables
- Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and methodologies
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline; Master's degree preferred
- Extensive experience in structural design and civil engineering projects
- Demonstrated expertise in structural analysis, materials, and design codes
- Strong project management and leadership skills with proven ability to mentor teams
- Knowledge of renewable energy infrastructure and renewable energy certificate frameworks
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to technical detail
- Effective communication skills and ability to work across global teams in a remote environment
- Proficiency with engineering software and CAD tools
