What You'll Do
- Teach vocational nursing concepts and clinical skills to engaged learners
- Develop and update curricula and lesson plans to meet state nursing education standards
- Evaluate student comprehension and clinical competency through assignments and assessments
- Provide mentorship and constructive feedback to support student achievement
- Stay current with evolving nursing practices, healthcare guidelines, and educational best practices
- Partner with other instructors and clinical sites to maintain program excellence
- Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
Qualifications
- RN (Registered Nurse) degree or active vocational nurse (VN) license
- Professional nursing or teaching experience
- Solid understanding of vocational nursing curriculum and accreditation requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Current CPR certification
- Availability for consistent evening work
