Praktikant/Werkstudent „Forschung & Innovation – Datengetriebene Entwicklung autonomer Systeme“ (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential automotive technology organization seeking a working student or intern to support research and innovation initiatives focused on data-driven development of autonomous systems.

In this role, you will:

• Support the Research & Innovation Manager in daily project work and innovation activities
• Conduct research, evaluation, and participate in research projects and funding initiatives
• Work on innovation topics related to data-driven development pipelines for fully autonomous vehicles
• Contribute to developing methodologies for autonomous systems using full-vehicle simulation
• Participate in Formula Student context and help create development environments, such as for Driverless Challenge applications

What We're Looking For

Our client is seeking candidates with:

• Current enrollment in engineering, computer science, automotive engineering, data science, or a comparable field
• Strong interest in vehicle simulation, autonomous driving, and data-driven development
• Basic knowledge of simulation and/or programming (e.g., Python, MATLAB) is advantageous
• Formula Student experience, ideally in the Driverless area, is helpful but not required
• Enthusiasm for solving complex, interdisciplinary challenges
• High motivation, analytical thinking, and a structured, independent working style
